I have an interesting friend whom I met recently. Very nice person and very funny too. The thing is, it's taking quite a far bit of time for this person to just make the next move.

Still waiting. Will keep waiting.

Til then, I will just keep smiling to sleep :)

An Alien in the Faraway Land?

Been in Singapore for a month plus and I have to say I have not adjusted to things here. Nevertheless, last night helped me improve on my sucky communication skills and I am now proud to say that I have adjusted a little better.

I have tonnes of things to do on my list and I just don't know where to start or where to stop.

Right now, I am missing my family so much. I use to quarrel and argue with my brothers and occassionally my mum.
Now, I quarrel with my own thoughts. Lifeless much?

Miss the days when my mum cooked icky yucky food and I secretly would tapao food outside.
Miss the days when I use to eat Mee Hoon Kueh like every alternate nights.
Miss the days when I could just invade my brother's room for the thrill of it.
Miss the days when Roxy was jumping around the house like a monkey on the loose.

I miss my family. So very much :(

Ever had this moment when your heart beat seems like your pulse?

Example:

D: Hey Alysia, feel my heart beat! It's going pretty fast! (and I show her my wrist!)
A: Ermm, I can only gauge your pulse from your wrist, not your heart beat!
D: Oh darn it! I am nervous!

Example:

N: (Walks towards S)
D: (Hides behind the wall)

One minute later,

N: Where the hell did you go to?
D: I was hiding. MALUUU!

Empty Dumpty

So, my blog passed away like 2 months ago. Decided to revive it once again.

I am leaving! Yes. Leaving Johor Bahru City. Not to KL or Penang, but to Singapore.
After 22 years living with my parents, I am now set for a new adventure.
New experience.New people. I am both happy and sad.

Sad because:

1. I will be away from my dearest family
2. I will be away from my baby, Roxy.
3. Nikki is still missing (it's been 3 days!!)
4. There is no internet connection (yet)
5. I will be away from my comfort zone

Happy. Why?

1. Meeting new people
2. Freedom to stay out for as long as I want (muahahahaha!)
3. Time to be independent (Buy my own food, Wash and dry my own clothes, etc.)
4. Referring to the above, I can prolly just send my clothes to the laundry shop? :P
5. New place! I get to mess up my room without having to hear my mum nag ;)


So yeah, I am leaving. Wish me luck. I hope I survive the Singapore jungle :D

So, I wanted to share a few things bugging me right now:

1. My colleague has COPROPHOBIA or CORPOROPHOBIA. Well, I'm mentoring her currently and I couldn't help but notice her scary hygienic habits.

COPROPHOBIA or CORPOROPHOBIA - fear of going to the loo

Apparently, she holds it til she reaches home after work!
Why?
Cos she is afraid that people could hear her pee flowing down the toilet bowl. She's afraid people would know she's flushing. She's afraid people will notice how long she takes in the ladies.
Scary innit?
I called her Toiletnoia in my own layman terms.
But I guess I should start calling her Coprophobia.


Oh on another note, I would like to wish her a Happy Birthday! She turned 26 today. Yay!



2. I am soooo disappointed with someone. Not gonna say who but if you were friends with me in FB, you would know who I am talking about.

Ever felt like you have done everything to help someone but still it is not enough?
Ever went all the way out to show you care but it goes unnoticed?
Ever felt like punching the person's face so hard cos they are just too stubborn to get it?

I felt that today. After coming back from a long day at work, I was hoping some peace and calm time at home. Unfortunately, things took the wrong turn and now, I would have to go to bed feeling all "bit**y".


To "you", I hope you realise what you're doing soon. Cos when I start to give up, you may lose me forever.


Pathetic day I had I know. Hope you guys had a good day though.

Yes. Yes. I can't believe it myself. It was just a for-fun thing I did over the weekend last month and I passed the interview.


Other new updates?

I finally wore my first saree to a wedding. More of an achievement to me because an Indian girl at my age would have worn sarees for like 10 times by now.

Here's a little peek at my gorgeous saree which was picked out within 5 minutes by the way :D
